He’s the 15-year-old kid in the 2005 indie film entitled Sarong Banggi, starring veteran actress Jaclyn Jose. His name — Angelo Ilagan. Now that it’s 2008, he’s turning legal. He’s turning 18. And he’s turning a lot of gay guys ga-ga. Smokin’ young bod. (Happy birthday to Angelo on Friday, March 28!)

Angelo Ilagan is a nephew of actor Jay Ilagan, who passed away many years ago. He was discovered by Maryo J. delos Reyes who also manages him. Born on March 28, 1990, his hobbies are watching TV and playing basketball. He’s 5′8″, 110 lbs, has brown hair and black eyes. His talents are dancing and acting. He’s been dancing in the group Streetkids since he was 10. The group has performed in various shows and were frequent performers on GMA-7?s “Master Showman Presents.” He hails from Cavite. He’s appeared on “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and in the movie “Sarungbanggi.” He’s also a regular on “Mga Anghel Na Walang Langit.”
Angelo says he wasn’t pressured to enter showbiz. It was his decision to try it and now enjoys every moment of it. His parents prioritize his education that’s why he’s not stopping school. He’s currently enrolled in a home study course at Fiatlux Academe.
Angelo likes to excel in drama and he is open to drug addict and gay roles. He likes to be leading man to Shaina Magdayao someday. His mom’s words of wisdom: “Be on time. Be presentable. And always smile.”

Angelo is my kababayan, from Gen.Trias, Cavite. Angelo Ilagan is only his showbiz name. Galing s’yang broken family. Ang tatay n’ya ay drug user/pusher, nakakulong before but nakalabas na yata, Hindi sya close sa tatay n’ya.
