i’ve been an avid reader of mgg, and it’s only now that i’ve actually dared to leave a comment.

I’ve seen this movie, and it simply melted my “cold heart”. I’m the typical pessimist-too realistic type of person when it comes to relationships.

This movie made me realize, na yeah, masarap pala ang feeling na ma-inlove (and mushy den pala talaga ako…), and denying those feelings simply makes a person screwed-up inside.

just like me. hehehe.

I bought a pirated copy too. This gay story is so touching I had to watch it again right after viewing it.
Trevor Wright is a natural. I have watched a lot of gay flicks but this one is a must see. It’s in the same league as Latter Days. Highly recommended.

I just got this movie on DVD like two or three days ago, and honestly in my huge gay-theme movie collections, this is one hot classic.

Grab hold of this guys. Not only did this give me (pleasant) goosebumps and that expected “kilig” factor, but it just seem so surreal. It mademe feel that somebody indeed is living this kind of life.

Downloaded the movie last night just to watch it again. Sigh.. it puts positivity back in relationships. Kung meron mang Zach and Shaun in the real world, they have all the right things going for them. First, legal gay marriage in California hehe. Second, their ‘adopted’ Cody. Having that responsibility between them is probably going to help them focus and commit to their partnership. Third, maturity. Shaun is older and experienced. And even Zach, who’s just started to be at peace with his sexuality, has shown it in the way he’s given up a lot of himself for the sake of Cody. And finally fourth, there are no frickin parents in this movie Hehe Just kidding.

This is a seriously uncomplicated, sincere sweet film. Not campy not trashy not explicit. I mean, damn, there are no butts and dicks in the first love scene at all, but that moment is as sexy as hell. Watch Shelter to remind yourself that your being gay is really still about love. That’s what we all are gay for

I just finished watching the movie and I love it!!!! Refreshing ang plot (Not too much sex and just the right amount of love) and natural ang dating ng mga actors plus ang cute ni Trevor!!!! It’s a feel good movie and I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends!

very refreshing movie… it’s very worth it.

absolutely enjoyed the movie. not so heavy yet heartfelt but not smarmy. naku ang simple at honest nito, ilang dipa lang ang layo sa mga shaon-gabby plots nung 80s pero di pa rin kayang gawin dito. loved “lie to me”. thanks, migs, for making it available.

the movie is bittersweet to me. yes, the happy ending is love, but it somewhat reminds me of something i might not have….

this film is soooo great. trevor wright is such cutie and hottie. wow! one of the best gay-themed movied ive watched!

A very optimistic yet slightly realistic view in gaymanship. Deserves an applause. The movie may make you feel like being “one” is not at all just about sexual orientation. It also means life.

And to add up, I fell in love with the scene when his bestfriend (gabe?) confronted him about him (zach) being gay. He kind of asked him about how it feels and stuff, which may come as teasing from a straight guy, but before he left…he assured him that they are still friends, in fact he used the term “brothers”…It was kind of touching when he wrapped his arms around zach to give him a reassuring hug and to me that’s what you call friendship.

Maybe the world may still have something to offer.

Shelter is okay though. It is good. But I think there is an element there that should be in the movie. But even me can’t figure out what it is. It is a nice movie anyway.
