Notes on Sen:
For PDA fans who have followed the show since Primer 1 Season 1, Hansen Nichols is not a new voice. He made it to the NCR leg but failed the final casting during kick-off. “I almost gave up,” he confesses. But like the true survivor that he is, he wouldn’t take failure seriously. If he could succeed a tough fight for a second chance at life, surely he could claim a better opportunity with PDA. So when Season 2 auditions came, Sen did not hesitate to join once more the long lines of hopefuls and subjected himself in front of the judges. This time he passed all stages of the competition for a scholarship slot.
US-grown and educated, Sen could have picked any job at any corporation anywhere in the world but he sacrificed stability to pursue a yet-uncertain career in music. But the dream that started way back when he was a small boy watching his mom sing at parties, and which burned alive in his heart even through a near-fatal brush with cancer, is too strong to ignore.

gay or not…should that matter? And who is not. Aren’t we really wanting cute guys to be gay so there is this possibility that we may be able get them to bed? Come to think of it, if one is a hardcore straight, can we make them to have sex with us? At a tiny chance yes, but in most likelihood no. If one is straight, he will remain a fantasy for us. So if one is gay, let us rejoice because he is one of us esp if he is cute particularly this Hansen. Sometimes I dont know who discriminates homosexuals from heteros, who are more concerned with putting labels and who are those take people as they are. Are these the straight people or the gay people themselves?
We are used to fighting for equality between men, women, lesbian and gaymen…but isnt it appropriate to start with ourselves and how we look at other people? It is seldom I hear a straight guy or girl say ” A bakla yan..tignan mo kung pano umupo?” these comments usually come from PLUs and that’s a little frustrating because it almost sounded as if being gay is some sort of an abnormality and part of the person’s flaw that usually escalates into a huge deal of controversy, when we shouldnt be making the sexual orientation big issue because we are part of that circle and we dont want it to be sensationalized too.I dont know if this is hypocracy on my end…personally I just look at it this way…This guy survived cancer and now living his life, like others who just realized time is everything. Gay or not i dont care. He’s lucky.

LOL i commented on him being gay because the network is trying to sell him as this cutie balladeer or whatever you may call that, it’s primarily about the network lying to the public, i mean so what if he is gay? what’s irritating is the fact that they’re trying to pair him with some of the girls inside the academy when they could just show the public he’s true identity instead of making him hide or cover up his true identity which he isn’t good at.

Is there something wrong with ones’ “gaydar”? If you have a girl (Chris-PDA) that has a crush on you and you say to the whole nation that we could be just friends, and you are mainly close to the other guys (Van & Bugoy), there is no reason to think that Sen is more than leaning to the “Gay” side than the “Straight” side.
