another thing.. i’m not much into the site’s new look.

My thoughts are, I like MGG to be focusing more on pinoy and half-pinoy hunks… or hunks [regardless of nationality] who are in the Phils. Hehehe. There are too many blogs that focuses on international hunks. So let them be the ones to give us the international ones.
I’ve been enjoying MGG since i first discovered it. Ngayon lang ako nakapag-react.

No, there are already so many sites out there that feature those types of guys. One main appeal about this blog is how it celebrates the yumminess of Pinoy males. Half-pinoys siguro puede pa.

I think your Filipino-focus is one of the strengths of the site - muddying the waters with international folks will distort that focus and make the blog a bit watered down. Besides, there are already fun blogs like Just Beautiful Men that do the international piece pretty well.

There are thousands ( I think) of sites with non pinoy hunks. Like the previous posters said, just leave it to them. Or if you really want to highlight a particular non pinoy, maybe just post a link. I think sites that feature pinoys exclusively are very few. Mabibilang ata sa sampung daliri! I like MGG just as it is (new layout is ok too…grumble grumble…)

While I think offering pictures of other non-Phil-based hunks will allow you more materials to post, but I agree with almost everyone else that thousands of sites already do that. What you got right now is unique. Consider keeping it that way.

I agree with Ethan, if you’ll feature non-pinoy hunks, at least feature those that are in the Philippines, para may “local” flavour pa rin.

You know Migz, what makes MGG unique is that you cater to Filipino hunks only and I sincerely believe that the Filipino community will never run out of beautiful hunks. Parang mawawalan ng uniqueness kasi from the name itself Manila - which means only in the Philippines you can find and no other part of the world. I travel a lot around the world and the peculiarity of the Filipino guys are uncomparable. Iba ang ganda ng Pinoy - Maharlika!!!

no, you should be unique in a way and present hunks in phil. only…not that i’m trying to be demanding here but a single search in the net of “hunks” would lead us to international men, mostly whites, so it’s useless to savor them here…besides, filipino gays need to exemplify our love to filipino hunks and you’re one of the few who celebrates it…..btw, the new look is not so the “manilagayguy”… smile…

Hey Migs. In a nutshell, no.

Your blog’s target market, is the Manila Gay Guy. You have the first and only site that features only Filipino ‘hunks’ as you may call it. People go to you for filipino hunks because this is the only resource (that I know of) that features pictures of desirable men, and new, fresh write-ups with (relatively) class and elegance, not found in other gay man sites. You already found your niche! I think readers wouldn’t want change.

However, this change can be tolerable for other readers if A) you can sustain the amount of pictures/articles of Filipino men, that is, you will just marginally increase your posts and B) if you don’t find maintaining MCG a chore. But the consequences are, your market will expand if you feature internationals. It will attract people of different nationalities, more spam, more trashers, more haters, more lovers… more people to entertain, generally. A solution to that (if ever you decide to feature international men) I think it would be best if you have two different sites (think miong21.blogspot.com). That would be hard to do, it’s like having two eggs in one basket.

Basta may Pinoy… Yun lang… One of the features that makes this site really stand out is being loyal to our kababayans… anyway… i also prefer old way of navigating this page… I miss the home button so much…

I am currently staying/living outside Pinas. Your site keeps me in touch with my roots, origins, nakalakihang culture, current trends and latest PLU news sa Pinas. Binabalikan ko lagi ang MGG dahil somehow parang di ako nalayo sa ating bansa. Kaya Kuya Migs, please stay focused on Pinoys, somehow may dugong-Pinoy or someway may koneksiyon sa Pinas tulad ni Leandro Okabe at Akihiro Sato. Ibandera ang Pinoy. Mabuhay ang Pinoy.

Por favor Migs, 100%  pinoy lang or men with half of their blood cells is with Pinoy blood, dami na nilang non-pinoy hunks sa mundo at nag-iisa lang tayo sa mundo, they even don’t bother to feature our men so, sino pa ang tatangkilik sa sariling atin and besides i really find pinoys appealling. I’ve been out of the country even up to now but still i like pinoy, hirap nga humanap ng pinoy na magiging bf dito sa ibang bansa thats why, i really  admire  the looks of the featured pinoys here in mgg, how about featuring guyz of non- showbiz  but cute, with charisma etc…if they agreed to be featured……cheers

I think what brings your site an edge is that you feature pinoy hunks. But correct me if I am mistaken, di ba naka feature ka na ng foreign hunks pero occassional lang?

I do like the new interface. Elegant. It makes for very-easy viewing. Yeah the black did have a sense of mystery but this new look gives it more class. Great idea, MGG.
