The internet-savvy Pinoy gaydom is all abuzz about Joel Lamangan’s Walang Kawala — with all its promotional pics, I’m not surprised. Here is another set of photos from this gay love movie, this time we see the characters in two’s, presenting, Walang Kawala’s duos — two-by-two savor the energy between the male characters shown in the following stills.

Walang Kawala is going to be premiered at the UP Film Institute on November 6. Tickets at 100 pesos available at the cinema booth on the day just before the showing time (7pm).

There’s just so many Pinoy gay stories that we can explore without sacrificing quality and art. Gay life is not all struggle and hopelessness. At tsaka Joel Lamangan? Bakya na naman ‘yan pustahan.

Oo nga. Bakit puro tragic ang gay films natin lately? I have yet to see a Pinoy gay feel-good film.

I’d go and watch this film. I sincerely hope it’s as good as they say it is. Although I’d like to see the day when pink films aren’t always about misery, repression, desperation, tragedy and death but rather films that speak of gay dreams and happiness.

The gay world does not only revolve around men and sex. There is also so much compassion, discipline, restraint, art, love, fidelity and self-respect in our lives, di ba?

Wait for the DVD to come out next year n if you have a Netflix acct. one could rent it.
This movie is a mix of stories- gay love, slave trade (its still going on), greed, economic hardship, etc… If this movie is not about two men, this movie would be showing at all mall theatres, not just at UP

I second the motion. . . with VINI and MIGS

There are lots of things na pwede nating ipakita sa mundo. Those are the things na taking for granted because people see what’s tragic about us. Or maybe it is us who let them see what’s tragic in us.
