Tiggah, a Filipino based in California and blogger celebrity in his own right, tells the world about his cute (kakilig!) love story with his Pooh. They have been together for 7 long years — wow di ba! So it’s really interesting to know how they as a couple came to be. Here’s an excerpt of Tiggah’s account:
I can remember when Pooh first came out to me. I was shaking, nervous, and anxious. My palms were sweaty and I couldn’t look him in the eye. I was surprised and didn’t know what to say. How could my straight best friend of 2 years suddenly tell me that he’s gay? Deep inside I knew that I felt that way because I had a crush on him all this time but knew that nothing could ever come of it because he was straight. It’s a strange feeling to finally come to terms and accept the fact that it could never happen, then suddenly, in an instant, a door opens. A door of opportunity seemed to have magically appeared out of nowhere. The question would seem to be - Do I rush right in before that door suddenly closes? Do I enter with caution? Or do I do nothing?

I’m so inggit!! But the story is very inspiring! At least there is something for me to hope for. I never thought these kind of things could ever happen. And I don’t care if they rarely happen. God let it happen to me & Adrian! Amen

i visited the site.
inspirational nga.
lahat yata tayo gusto ng ganyan.
pero is it just me or my principle in life?
tama ba yun ipost ang pics na nag sex? or nude?
then again, buhay naman nila yun.
pero turn off lang ako dun sa part na hubaran thing.
kasi conservative ako. hindi ganyan ka ladlad.
pero if wala yun “ganun” sa blog, siguro ma iidol ko pa sila.
hanga din ako sa kanila dahil they are aware na mature stuff ang ginagawa nila at not be readable by young kids.
perfect couple. swerte sila.
both good looking.

I don’t think LOVE naman only happens to “beautiful” (meaning good-looking) people. I’d like to believe that love happens. Period. It may take some time, you may have to kiss many frogs before you find your match. Sana. Minsan din we always end up trying to find the same “qualities” in a person and usually this is the “good-looking, model, drop-dead gorgeous guy” — which is, in reality, a fantasy. I’m not saying babaan natin ang ating standards… but rather alamin natin kung ano ang “realistic” at sa “hindi.” As the saying goes “don’t judge a book…”
Minsan, we also need to check what’s become of us. Like I always say, when you want to be loved, you have to be lovable. Naks! Easier said!
May Tiggah and Pooh’s SEVEN YEARS together multiply sevenfold.

Hey Migz! Thanks for the sweet blog post :)
hehe and might I say…Pooh and I are definitely not “beautiful”…we’re just ordinary people just like everyone else. When I met Pooh, he actually looked A LOT DIFFERENT than he does now. Pooh has lost a LOT of weight…I’m not saying he was ugly before…I’m just saying that we’re not perfect and nor do we try to be :) I agree with Vini when he says that you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Read it first…then make your review…that’s what I did with Pooh. For those of you that find inspiration from our story…just know that the best things in life come to you when you’re not looking. Love is not just for “beautiful people”. Everyone deserves to be loved. There’s someone out there for everyone :) Take care everyone! Thx again Migz…keep your eye open for part 2! P.S. It’s been a while since I’ve been on your blog…I love the new layout!
