TJ Trinidad and Mylene Dizon The Fabcasters are back, and this time, with the Chris Martinez, director/writer/producer of “100″ — the indie movie starring Mylene Dizon, Tessie Tomas, and Eugene Domingo. Chris is also the screenplay writer of Bridal Shower, Bikini Open, Sukob, and Caregiver. He was also the playwright of the fabulous musical play “Zsazsa Zaturnnah.”

The movie, Cinemalaya 2008’s most-awarded entry and rated “A” by the Cinema Evaluation Board, talks about the unfabulous topic of death, and an OC woman’s (Mylene Dizon) 100 raging things to do before kicking the bucket. The fabcast mostly talks about Chris’s experience in making movies (both writing and directing), in the indie scene and mainstream.

So I thought you guys would like a feature on an icon of success for us PLUs — here you go then, listen and learn, mga ‘teh!

100 chronicles the last three months of a cancer stricken woman who has a list of things to do before she dies. Her list of tasks, mostly closures and practical undertakings, expands to the worldly and the spiritual as people close to her share her last days. The film examines the betrayal of the body, celebrates the senses and contemplates the end of life and how to live it. A light-hearted, briskly paced, youthful take on a classic subject, 100 stars today’s most exciting performers — Mylene Dizon, Eugene Domingo, Tessie Tomas, TJ Trinidad, Ryan Eigenmann, Simon Ibarra and others. It is written and directed by Chris Martinez under the creative supervision of Marlon Rivera.

“100″ is going to have its commercial run in theaters starting Dec. 3. Watch tayo, go!

Chris! Galing-galing. Worth it ang hirap mo sa pelikulang itek! Pasalubong naman from Korea. Pero wait, segue lang ako at papatulan ko itong isang pasaway…

HELLO: Una ka ngang nag-comment pero NEGA ang energy mo. Pampababa ka naman ng tama ineng! Paano nawawala ang pagkabilib mo kay Gibbs when you hear him with Miggs and his friends? Natutunaw ba ito na parang yelo o kumukupas na parang kulay ng t-shirt kapag matagal nababad sa clorox? Paano? Paki-eksplika nga. And while you’re at it HELLO it paki-lista na rin LAHAT ng work ni Chris Martinez sa next entry mo para ma-educate naman kami sa complete body of work niya. Isama mo na rin kaya yung mga unpublished work niya. Mukhang marami ka namang alam, baka marami kaming matutunan sa iyo.

To be fair Gibbs did mention “Last Order Sa Penguin” during a line of questioning that eventually was edited out as per Chris’ request (he preferred that the Fabcast be focused on the film).
