You've been friends for years with this guy who you've long suspected to be PLU (People Like Us). You have not opened up to him about your being gay/bi/whatever. Outwardly he looks and acts straight, and he himself says he's straight. However, from your point of view, there are signs that suggest he is indeed PLU -- he's good looking, and successful both in school and at work, but he's never had a girlfriend; he's very physically conscious, a bit vain actually, and maintains a mysterious distance whenever the topic of homosexuality arises in conversations.
