Let’s Start the Zaturnnah Fe-vah!

Can’t wait for Zsazsa Zaturnnah ze movie! It’s part of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, along with 8 other locally produced movies. For those who have not heard about Zsazsa Zaturnnah, here’s an intro for you:

Zsazsa Zaturnnah tells the story of Ada, a cynical resident of a small provincial town, who gains superhuman abilities through a stone that falls from the heavens. With the ability to transform into the voluptuous and powerful Zaturnnah, Ada defends his hometown from dangerous otherworldly threats. Adding color to this simple tale is the fact that Ada is a homosexual, proprietor of his own quaint beauty salon. Joining him in his extraordinary adventure is his frilly-mouthed assistant Didi and his secret love Dodong.

What started as a comic book is now a movie! Did you know how the Zsazsa concept was conceived? And how the movie was put together? Watch this 8-minute video by Regal Films, a la The Making of the Zsazsa Zaturnnah movie. It contains a series of interviews from the people behind the movie.

Thanks for the ‘ala-sneak preview’. May fearless forecast ako na magiging hit siya sa December. I can’t wait to see this in the big screen!

I got home 3am this morning, trying to finish the musical score of the ZSAZSA ZATURNNAH movie. I assure you guys, this movie is SUPER FUN - bading ka man o hindi!!! Hell, even my straight-as-an-arrow driver loves it. Effects by Ignite Media is brilliant. Acting by Zsazsa, Rustom and Chokoleit is hilarious. I used some of the songs from the musical and added new songs. Yes, this is a musical-fantasy-action-comedy film from Regal.

Also, please catch the re-mounting of the ORIGINAL ZSAZSA ZATURNNAH ZE MUZIKAL at the Tanghalang Batute, CCP this January 2007.

juice ko, antagal ko nang inaantay to! pero ngayong nandito na sha, di parin ako makapaniwala! ang ganda ganda ng poster ng movie sa GATEWAY! muntik na akong himatayin! ganyan ko kamahal si zsazsa zaturna. at buti nalang, si zsazsa mismo ang gaganap as zaturna. bagay na bagay sha!!!

2 years ago (if im not mistaken) ko nabasa ang book ng zsa zsa zaturnnah, binabasa kasi ng ex ko ang book then hiniram ko sya kasi tawa sya, and i assumed na maganda sya, from baguio to pangasinan binasa ko ang book in two hours it was like 5am to 7am, tawa ako ng tawa nung nasa bus ako, at sinabi ko na once ginawang pelikula ito ako ang unang pipila sa mga sinehan, i fell in love with the book sana ganun din pag napanood ko sya…buti na lang si chokoleit ang gumanap na didi kasi bagay na bagay nya ang role…

Waaaaaaaaaah! Hu hu hu. Nakakahiya ang nangyari sa premiere. How sad. How sad talaga. Buti na lang hindi ako pumunta kundi baka naiyak ako sa frustration. At naglaslas ng pulso sa tabi ng popcorn stand.
