The web host migration has finally finished!

You will notice though that some recent posts and comments disappeared, and this is due to my switch to a different web server. My apologies for these. I will try to manually restore the recent posts. But for the comments that disappeared, please re-enter them as I could not restore them myself, I’m sorry.

With this migration though, we should not be experiencing the “CPU exceed” errors of before. Let’s cross our fingers! Salamat sa lahat!

* I’m officially transferring web host very soon! As in next week! I’m renting a server in the US just so I can finally put to rest the “CPU Exceeded Quota” errors a lot of you my dear loyal readers have been getting in this site. The root cause of these “suspended” errors is my current web host’s inability to handle the amount of traffic here in MGG. The solution? A web host 10x more expensive, but is willing to give me more server power. Bottomline: by next week, no more “suspended” and CPU exceed error messages! (cross your fingers!)

I do not know Arnold Reyes intimately, and I cannot really claim we’re good friends. But we’re good acquaintances. The first time I saw him was in Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzical, where he played the character of Dodong. The first time I met him personally was in a cafe in QC, which was repeated another time in another coffee shop in QC where he shared with me his “Dodong in Bed” pic. Soon after he sent me pictures from his photoshoot, and I featured him in this post entitled “Dodong is Back” — which I was tempted to re-title, Arnold Reyes in trunks, hehehe!

Once in a while I get letters that deeply touch me. This is one of those. Steve left this as a comment in my previous post, “Quitting Manila Gay Guy.” While he says it is a tribute to me, the background story is something worth reading. His story is so palpably real and touching. Read on.

Hi Migs,

This is my story, but at the end, you will know why I consider it as a tribute to you. I’m afraid this piece is a bit long, but please bear with it. (For readers na ayaw ng mahahabang messages, lagpasan n’yo na lang ‘to). This is my first attempt, at communicating to you Migs, after reading your post “Is God Against Gay?” I think last August 28, 2006. Funny pero ngayon ko lang na-realize na isang taon ko na palang binabasa blog mo, without even telling you so I think its time na idagdag ang boses ko sa clamor ng bayan na dapat magpatuloy ka.
