Today we took a walk — up the street, and picked a flower and climbed the hill — above the lake. And secret thoughts, were said aloud. We watched the faces in the clouds, til the clouds had blown away –and were we ever some where else you know — it’s hard to say.

We create our day, we create our week… so as we start our beautiful Monday, we look forward to a beautiful beautiful week ahead! Beautiful, just like each one of us! Hehehe!
1. I watched Insiang at CCP and Romulus d’ Grayt at PETA this weekend — a one-two punch (aba Manny Pacquaio ikaw ba yan!?) of drama and comedy. Both stage plays were remarkable, so I encourage you dear theater-watching people to watch! (Even non-theater goers, go na!)
2. RoXXXanne (a film starring Sheree, Janvier Daily, and Jay Acquitania) is opening this Wednesday, Oct 10, and a good number of MGG readers are going with their free VIP Pass courtesy of none other than the writer-director-producer himself, Jun Lana. Ambait ng lola ninyo di ba! Thanks Jun!
3. I’m gonna buy the latest X-ray Magazine! If I find good pics, would I share it here? Why, of course! So watch out for it! (or better yet, get your own copy of the mag!) Featured photo in this post is Dion Ignacio. Hot!
4. On a more personal note, I’m going out with a special friend again this week - and I’m so excited *wink* *wink*
5. To end this post, let me share a quotation I just received via SMS:
To those who see with loving eyes, life is beautiful.
To those who speak with a tender voice, life is peaceful.
To those who help with gentle hands, life is full.
And tho those who care with compassionate hearts, life is good beyond all measure.
I wish you all a great week ahead! Thank you and world peace!

The sun rises on a new dawn. Yet few of us realize the debt we owe to those who dwell among us; anonymous, seemingly ordinary, whom destiny brought together to repair, to heal, to save us from ourselves. If evolution can do this for even the smallest creatures, then why not these human beings? And they’re still out there, in the shadows, in the light. We pass them on the street, never suspecting, never knowing. Do they even know yet, that they are bound together by a common purpose, a glaring reality to be extraordinary?” And when destiny does anoint them, how do they hide from it? How long can they dwell in the shadows before either fate or their own flawed humanity draws them out into the light again? And how will they know what awaits them when it finally does?
(Quote above from Heroes, Season 2, Episode 1)
Yes, I believe it in my heart — that if we are courageous enough to be truly ourselves, then we will be able to see our character’s real strengths. And when we see it, if we so desire, we can use it in our journey to be the best that we can be, to be extraordinary.

Let me start off with this: THANK YOU, dear MGG readers. You make this site so rich with many different opinions and points of view — you make me laugh, sometimes think, at other times, feel melancholic. And it’s all good! Salamat po!
* * *
Single Brown Mommy writes:
… according to a recent survey by Reader’s Digest, Metro Manila ranks among the least courteous cities in the world, and that Manilans forget to say the words ‘thank you.’
Upon reading this, I told myself, along with World Peace, I want to take it upon myself to promote the practice of always appreciating other people. I agree, with all the negativities in this world, we tend to forget to appreciate our fellow human beings. We sometimes take our friends for granted, what more strangers? But I suggest, especially all you gay men out there, let’s role model the practice of appreciation towards others. You know how good it feels when we are appreciated, right? I believe in the saying that “if it is to be, it is up to me.” So people, if you agree that appreciating other people more often is good, then join me in this crusade! Let’s help in promoting this culture of appreciation.
* * *
To help ourselves further buy in to this kind of behavior change, let me offer you the benefits of being more appreciative:
1. Build better and healthier relationships
2. Positive energy begets positive energy!
3. You get to smile more often, thus slowing down the physical aging process
4. A pleasant (smiling!) disposition is a much better social lubricant than any alcoholic drink
5. It feels good to be appreciated — and to appreciate too!
So, mga friends, let’s do it! Say more ‘thank you’, more ’salamat’ — and believe that your positive energy will bring back more for you and for the people around you. Thank you, and World Peace!
